• What are you the best at?

I just read the article, ‘What can you do better than anyone else? ’ in Issue 6 of Oh Comely.

It was broken up into 4 lovely sub-articles/stories exploring their uncelebrated and underappreciated talents. They were all small, unusual, and, in the grand scheme of life, rather insignificant things, but these people embraced their very much unique and obsessive, if not completely useless, customs. They acknowledged that they were different, incomparably, and that it only took the littlest details to recognise this. You don’t have to be world famous, or develop the cure for cancer to be special. As Liz Bennett, the editor, wrote,

I am a super hero in my own world and cannot escape it. Good, or bad, or inbetween, I am best in the world - and alone.

It’s about happiness and finding comfort, or even confidence, in your quirks.
